What do teams do during this experience?
Teams assemble high-quality skateboards using provided tools and components, then add a personal handwritten message to the young person who will receive their board.
Who receives the skateboards?
Skateboards are typically donated through Red Frogs Australia, who distribute them to young people through schools, community programs, and youth mentoring initiatives. We can also partner with a youth organisation, school, or community group of your choice.
Do participants need any prior skills or experience?
No. All tools and components are provided and the build process is guided throughout the session.
What do we need to provide?
You will need tables for participants and a microphone for groups of 30 or more.
Can we choose which organisation receives the skateboards?
Yes. Red Frogs Australia is our default partner, but we can work with a youth organisation, school, or local community group to ensure the boards reach young people in a community that matters to your team.
Is this experience suitable for a conference or large corporate event?
Yes. The format scales well for large groups and integrates easily into team days, conferences, and offsite events.
