What is the SolarBuddy Hour of Power?
The SolarBuddy Hour of Power is a charity team building experience where participants assemble solar lights that are donated to children living without electricity.
How many lights will our team assemble and donate?
The number of lights assembled during the SolarBuddy Hour of Power depends on your group size. SolarBuddy lights arrive as unassembled kits, with a minimum order of 25 lights, and we recommend allowing at least one light per person or a maximum of one light between two people.
Are the solar lights checked before distribution?
Yes. Every SolarBuddy light is carefully checked and tested after assembly to ensure it is functioning correctly before being distributed to communities.
What space and A/V is required for the SolarBuddy Hour of Power?
We require an indoor space with your delegates at tables, as well as a projector and screen. For groups over 30 people, we require a microphone.
Is the SolarBuddy Hour of Power delivered virtually or in person?
The SolarBuddy Hour of Power charity team building experience can be delivered in person at your event or virtually via your preferred video conferencing platform, allowing teams to participate from anywhere while still creating meaningful impact together.
