What do teams build during this experience?
Teams construct emergency and household water filtration units. Household units are also personalised with artwork, creating a human connection to the families who will rely on them for safe drinking water.
What is the blindfolded challenge?
As part of the experience, teams complete a blindfolded challenge that simulates the daily reality of collecting and managing water without reliable access. It builds communication, trust, and empathy in a way that stays with participants long after the day.
Who receives the filtration units?
Units are distributed through Water for Good, a not-for-profit organisation working to end preventable WASH-related disease. Water for Good partners with local leaders to deliver reliable water access to refugee families and vulnerable communities where the need is greatest.
Do participants need any prior skills or experience?
No. All components and guidance are provided. Teams are supported throughout the build process.
What do we need to provide?
You will need a projector and screen, tables for participants, and a microphone for groups of 30 or more.
Is this experience suitable for a conference or large corporate event?
Yes. The format scales well for large groups and integrates easily into team days, conferences, and offsite events.
